Does this sound like good stock for a 20 gallon?

I picked up everything I need to start up my 20 gallon Aquarium. The tank is on order and the rest is sitting in my room.

I am going to start the cycle once the tank arrives but I have decided on what fish I would like in the Aquarium.

I was just wondering if this sounds like good stock, or if it's over-stocked. If it isn't over-stocked do I have room for a few more Tetra's?

6 Cardinal Tetra
3 otocinclus
2 Bolivian Rams
1 Apple Snail.

That sounds fine. If you were to add anything else, it would be 1 more Oto. Plus, the Apple Snail will get huge (reason they are called APPLE snails).

You can't add live plants with an Apple Snail either (don't know if you had plans on that).

If I was going to get rid of the Apple Snail and grab 1 or two dwarf frogs, would that be fine? Or will those fish not get along with the frogs.

They should get along with 1 or 2 ADF's. If you want a snail, look into Mystery Snails. They stay around Golfball size and wont eat your plants. But I would either get the ADF's or a snail. Maybe even some shrimp for extra clean-up.

Let me get this straight, Cody. You recommend putting shrimp with a fish that can become rather aggressive, especially at breeding time, with shrimp? Not to mention that they are opportunistic feeders. The picture is becoming cloudy here......
