did i kill my bacteria?

im 6 weeks in a fish in cycling. 20g with 3 platys, 4 small anubias, 1 small java fern. i treated with malachite green and formalin for 6 days. ive had temp at 90 for 6 days, starting on 3rd day of meds. (ich) my water had improved in the last week. today i tested with tetra laborett and got 0 nitrites and 1.5 mg/l ammonia. 50% wc 2 days ago. did i kill the bacteria?

They do exert a mild anti-bacterial effect but in most circumstances they will not destroy bio bacteria, although they may set the filter back for a little while.
