Glad to hear your fish seem to be doing better!

Thank you, for taking the time to help, along with everyone else who posted. The dying has abated. So, I am relieved for that.

I too believe something came home in the LFS package. I have good equipment and maintained really good parameters in the tank and I have been managing just fine for 1/2 a year. It is simply too coincidental that as soon as I bring home two fish, chaos breaks out. Especially since nothing else changed.

And, I cleaned and tested everything prior.

I am in the LFS Monday as I would like to restock. I will let you know what results from the visit.

Thanks again for your input.

Two words that have saved my tanks numerous times.. Quarantine tank. Couldn't guess at how many fish I v'e lost when playing what amounts to Russian Roulette with introducing new fish to otherwise healthy system.

The most important medication in your fish medicine cabinet is.. Clean water.

I have a 10g tank I am using to grow plants. I suppose I could use this tank.

How long do you keep the fish in the quarantine tank before you transfer?

Two weeks is the minimum I shoot for ,but have cheated once in a while and placed the fishes in my tank after a week.
