Cycled tank?

I have been cycling my 90litre tank for four weeks. I tested it today and the results were 0 for ammonia, nitrite and maybe a tiny trace of nitrate but I don't know cos my test kit doesn't show traces. ANyway is my tank cycled. Some people told me it's not cos it has no nitrate

How are you cycling it? And has there been a rise in ammonia, followed by a rise in nitrite?

If there was a rise in ammonia, followed by a drop in ammonia (zero) and rise in nitrites, followed by a drop in nitrites (zero) and a rise in nitrates, then you are cycled. I'd be a little concerned if there was no nitrates though. I don't know anything about the quick fix products used in cycling because I don't use them and don't trust them. It's possible that the stuff you used has affected the parameters some how...for better or worse I don't know.

Stability is OK to use, it simply seeds the nitrifying bacteria. You need to continue the ammonia source (flake food) until you add a fish.

Too late. I already added my 6 platties before got your message. They've been in there since yesterday. Parameters all 0 this morning. What do I do now? Will they be ok?

Probably. Monitor ammonia and nitrite for a few days. The bacteria are probably still active.
