I went out to Petco (was in Boston for 6 days) and got a master freshwater API liquid kit! (After being told strips were better 1294 times by employees.) Idiots.

ANYWAY
I tested my water and I got these results and I think my 30g just may be near its cycling end?

Nitrite: 0 ppm
Nitrate: 10 ppm
Ammonia: 0.25 ppm
pH: 7.6

Ammonia seems a little high than preferred though..
I want to get 8 panda cories this week.

Strange for you to have ammonia and nitrates but not nitrites. Test your tap water. You need 0 ammonia and nitrites to be able to introduce fish (or more fish, whichever your method). And good job standing up to the Petco people, I'd be embarrassed to work there I think.

I agree on the waiting, Pandas are particularly sensitive to good water. They also ship REALLY badly so make sure you buy ones that have been in the store for a while. Also, if you're in the Boston area, Skipton's Pet in Roxbury is amazing. Like, super awesome extremely responsible. Much better than PETCO.
