Other than the pygmy/habrosus/hastatus species, are all corydoras the same size? I'm thinking of getting a 20 gallons with a school of cories, but I find a lot of conflicting infos about the size of the different cory species. Is it true, for example, that the Panda, Julii and Elegant breeds are smaller?
Julii don't get too large, Pandas are a little more sensitive than some corys. Never kept emeralds. You may wish to visit www.planetcatfish.com they have oodles of info on all things catfish.;-)
Beware of the corydoras look-alike Brochis splendens that gets much larger. They look similar to the emerald cories when young.
