I plan on getting 6 albino cories and my quiestion is I also plan on getting a Pygmy chain sword plant and this plant will carpet the tank. Is this ok for the cories ? Will they still be able to manuver around the gravel and search for food through the carpeted tank?

Agree. But, I would keep some open space on the substrate, somewhere along the front. I try to do this in any tank that has corys or loaches. I add the sinking foods in the open areas, and the fish get used to it and can enjoy their meals together.

Something we all need to remember: The fish you've acquired was quite happy not being owned by you, minding its own business. If you’re going to take it under your wing then you’re responsible for it. Every aspect of its life is under your control, from water quality and temperature to swimming space. [Nathan Hill in PFK]
