Love that Aquarium!! Used to go there quite a bit!! The oldest in the United States Of America!!

When looking for a solution to an Aquarium problem go slow and change only one parameter at a time!

Very interesting. Some nice habitat displays. Those of us who live near to a public aquarium are fortunate, as one can often see larger displays of our fish and obtain somewhat of a more natural perspective of fish interactions.

The quick scene near the end of the discus in with cardinals is a very authentic aquascape, though the light in the Amazon would be much more dim.

Thanks for posting this.

The aquarist is one who must learn the ways of the biologist, the chemist, and the veterinarian. [unknown source]

Something we all need to remember: The fish you've acquired was quite happy not being owned by you, minding its own business. If you’re going to take it under your wing then you’re responsible for it. Every aspect of its life is under your control, from water quality and temperature to swimming space. [Nathan Hill in PFK]

I'm so jealous! You're making me think that a road trip to some kick butt aquariums should be on the list of things to do this spring/summer. Now if I can just convince the bf......... LOL.

The Boston aquarium is a little underwhelming IMO. They do have the humungous tank in the center of the building that you follow all the way up the floors which is amazing so it's got that going for it.

Animal testing is a terrible idea; they get all nervous and give the wrong answers.
