CO2 Question...

I have a 100 gallon tank. I recently started adding plants to.

Upon research of the plants the Cabomba (for instance) requires CO2 levels to be checked and added if needed.

What is the best method for adding CO2 to the tank?

I know adding water to it will contain CO2 which can help.
Say once a week changing 25% of the water.

Suggestions, idea's, comments?

At that size i'd say u need a pro co2 sistem.
2-5Kg CO2 cylinder, pressure reducer, anti-return valve, the works.
Going to cost you a pretty nice ammount but with a tank that size i doubt it that the co2 homemade bomb can get things going.
But remember u can keep plants without co2 to, it's just that they won't grow that fast and won't look that good.
I've seen a couple of lowtech planted tanks that looked pretty good and they had no co2.

Has anyone used the Red Sea CO2 system? or would you all recommend a DIY CO2 system(like the yeast method)?

For 100G you need a huge bomb... a 2L cola bottle won`t do the trick if you are looking for serious co2.
You could use 2-3 bombs but it`s gonna be hard to keep the co2 under control. Remember to much co2 cand do more damage than no co2.

so with that being said would it be easier to buy a CO2 system instead of a DIY one?

In either case for buying one what would be recomended.
If DIY any links on how to build it?
