cloudy water question

So I added water to my tank on friday after adding theh eco complete planted substrate. How long does it take for the water to get clear? It has almost a purple haze to the water which I think its purple due to the black background.

Tank hasnt gone through the cycle yet either which I am in no hurry for.

Now that I look at the lighting I have on a website. I think my moronic LFS sold me a SW lighting system. I will double check this when I get home. The SW has a blueish tinted light with it while the FW has a pink light in it.

Lighting system is the Nove extreme T-5

ill kill my lfs if he gave me this one, then Ill hate myself for not paying closer attention to the light he grabbed.

There's nothing particularly wrong with the light fixture. If you do have an actinic bulb just take it back and request to exchange it for a more appropriate FW one. Since the guy is the one who gave you the wrong bulb I'd think he'd replace it without too much hassle.
