Thanks, yeah, I dont think I will add anything to it, but I do plan on doing the water change...just instead of my normal 20-30% I am going to do 50%.

Update...

So I bought some Phosphate remover...couldnt find it for regular aquariums as it is a more common issue for ponds...so I got one of the pond ones. (I only used a 1 ml dose) Anyways, it has been working. First dose removed about 50% of the cloudiness, just did the 2nd dose and it will hopefully clear it up the rest of the way over the next 3 days (or I will end up doing another water change).

I have tested the water parameters and still no change at all to anything, which is great.

I cant wait to have a clear tank again...it has been almost a month!!!

Makes sense you may have high phosphates that prompted algal bloom.

In all fairness, until an hour ago, my pics have always been of one of my fish, and the only place that states a hint to my sex is on my about me where my employment is housewife. Then again, maybe I just type and punctuate like a girl! LOL

Naw, I almost purposely have up until now tried to remain as anonymous as possible on here with no pics of me, havent used my real name, or given up my age...just for security reasons. But thanks to Lupin outing me for being a girl (LOL...totally just kidding!!!)!!!

I have been here on TFK since the beginning of the year, and feel safe with the regulars on here to put a pic of myself on here (as I did), and to admit that I am a girl! lol

I usually dont like mentioning my age because people for some reason just dont take me as serious when it comes to my opinions and knowledge regarding fish, animals, politics, or anything because most people hear my age (which is NOT that young) and think I am a "youngin'". For the record, I am 26.

But I do want to say thanks to all on this post and to those like Lupin, Jbonez, Curt, Kirkland14, and others who have shown nothing but respect, honesty, friendliness, helpfulness, and for making TFK such a useful tool, resource, and fun place to spend all my time where I learn verses Facebook.

And, in the future, feel free to call me Amanda.

Out of all the online forums out there thats why I like and use this one is for that reason right there!

I'm a member of various forums regularly visiting only at least 6-7 including this (since I mod/admin 4 currently). TFK is one of the first forums. I dunno if some of you know this but I was the first staff member invited by Mike (the site owner) here. It's been sooo long that when I returned here, I felt a bit out of touch with new members. I've had periods of absences from this forum until recently, I decided to return full blast (would not consider my periodic presence as comeback) after an email correspondence with Mike when I enlisted his help to update my email and passwords.

I'm turning 22 this year. I know this might surprise some folks again. It's true though. I'm only 21 right now and going 22 in 6 months.

Nice to meet new members and seeing veteran members alike.
