Got a freshwater can't get clear any suggestions?

How long has the tank been set up? What are the parameters, such as Ammonia, Nitrite, Nitrate, PH? How many/what kinds of fish? It's hard to diagnose when you're question is so vague, there are lot's of different causes. Is the cloudiness white or green?

All of the above, plus what is in the tank as far as rocks, branches, what are you using for substrate? What kind of filter are you using? And so on...
