Cleaning a tank
So i have noticed in my 14 gallon under the rocks im getting some algery growth, is it okay to take the rocks out and just rinse them so i can scrub the bottom of my tank? Today is my water change day, so ill be taking out a few gallons and saving the rest of the water and empty the tank completly so i can clean the bottom

Well, with the exception of a gravel siphon and/or a total tear down, I don't think I've ever cleaned the bottom. Still if I just had a rocky bottom, I wouldn't remove any more water than the normal weekly water change. The remove the rocks and scrub the bottom with an algae brush.
Father Knows Best but Abbey knows everything! I once knew everything, then I asked one question.
