My BP lasted about two months in my 55g with four Mbuna Cichlids. Everything seemed fine. They were all about the same size, the mbuna were of course longer and the BP was bigger round.
I did the AM feeding around 8 and all was well. At the 7 PM feeding he was pretty much shredded, up side down in a corner. I euthanized the poor fish. The same thing happened to my Green Severum in much the same manner about two weeks after the BP was attacked.
I for one will never mix africans with south american cichlids again.
ok well then my blood parrots will stay in my 20 then
