Celebes changing colour?

Hello all! I've had some Celebes Rainbow fish for a while now. They're all happy, healthy, etc. Two of them (there are seven altogether) are changing in colour. They used to be clear with a gold-ish tinge to them like the rest, but now they're changing to a darker blue-grey. Sorry, no pics. They're too fast!

I've googled and found nothing on this. Is this normal? What does it mean?

I forgot to mention that the colour change is among two of the females. One in particular has drawn the attention of two males, who enjoy flaring at her every morning and trying to chase each other (other male) away.

Rainbowfish tend to darken with age.
It could also be breeding colouration?

Yeah, I was wondering that. This morning one of the males is all dark blue-grey and flaring up a storm! What a gorgeous thing to watch!
