Looking for any info on the use of Catappa Leaves, like how many per gallon, what fish I can use them with..really any info..thanks for your help...

Are Catappa leaves the same as Indian Almond leaves?

I use my Indian Almond leaves in my shrimp tanks. Baby RCS feed off of the bacterium that grows on dead leaf matter and these leaves have reduced my mortality rate of newly hatched shrimp dramatically. I'd think you could use these in any fresh water set up. They make the water slightly tea colored.
