are carpet plants easier to grow in a 20g long than a 29g..

Since it is so much more shallow? Trying to figure out the probably pros/cons between the 2,obviously 9 more gallons in 29 but same length. I would really like a carpet plant but struggled to grow them in my 55 low tech.

Yes, but a two-tube NO or one tube HO should work with the 29, esp if you go with the easier plants like marsilea, dwarf sag, or the one byron alqays reccomends (i forget).
