Can water be too soft ?

I have well water with a commercial, chlorine free water system. Well is also VERY deep and my tap is clean, chlorine free etc. I setup a small tank in my kitchen 10 gallon for my fish to live in, and they seem to be happy. I have to pull my living room BIG tank out of the wall to do some cleaning and redesigning. I want to fill my big tank back up with my tap, put in some conditioners and ph stabilizers, and let it run for a couple days before the fish go back in.

My tap water Nitrates NO2/NO3 are ZERO (Liquid Test)
My softness is off the charts beyond ZERO (Strip Test)
My Alkalinity is VERY high 300ish, off the chart high level (Strip Test)
My PH out of the tap is 7.8-8.0 (Liquid Test)

Is the alkalinity being so high, is that bad ? How about the softness ? I just want whats best for the fish, and I'd like to not have to go buy 70 gallons of drinking water for the store and spend all day pouring it in there. Straight from the hose is easier, since the tank has to be filled while it's in the wall which is a PAIN since access to add water is about 2 inches from the wall in the guest bedroom behind the living room.

Gimme a break, I'm a dog guy

well to convert it you divide by 16 or so. So that puts you between 16 and 20 dGH. This is high but I don't think it is something the fish can't cope, most species anyway. Being the results are from a test strip they could be higher than actual but I keep mine at 10dGH intentionally which is about 160-170 ppm. My fish have never had a problem with it.

I have the same concerns... my alkalinity is constantly at 300. My PH is at 8.4. But I was told that it the fish should get used to it.
