i say about 10 neon tetras

My Tanks:
20 Gallon Community Tank
5 Gallon Guppy and Fry tank

SOON TO COME!!
A 55-75 gallon tank, hopefully

*Remember, its not how big a tank is, its how hard you worked on that small tank.

I would add some more ottos, they do better in groups.

I would add 3 more oto's and then add 10 Neon tetra. That would set you up pretty good.

Of you can try this............

AqAdvisor

It works pretty good. Still in the trial/error stages - missing some species but will work for you.

thanks everyone but sad to report there is something killing my fish

my betta died last night and i assumed it was because he was like 3 1/2-4 years old but this morning one of my cories died

. i put half in a cycled ten gallon and then some in my brothers 5 gallon. the amonia nitates are fine and no fish appear to look sick. so i am stripping the tank cleaning everything then will start new. hopefully no more will die

will keep everyone updated

So sorry to hear the bad news!

No signs of disease on any of the Fish that passed? Did you add anything new to the tank recently that could have leached toxins?

i did clean the filter and did find a weird blackish brownish goo could this have killed my fish?

Sounds like what was in the filter, was just some type of algea.
Did you take an ammonia and nitrite reading the day the fish died? If you over cleaned the filter, you may have damaged the cycle.

i took it right after my betta died. i just kinda moped alittle of the stuff out it looked like it was clogging the filter.
