Bubbles in Aquarium?

Hello everyone,
Recently, i have had bubbles completley blanket the surface of the water in my tank, and I fear that it may be causing harm to my fish.

Any ideas as to what could be causing this? Is it indeed harmful to my fish?

Thank you!

Do you have a planted aquarium or add anything to your to your tank on a daily basis? What type of filtration do you use? Last thing, post all your parameters, tank size, inhabitants ect.. :D

A link until someone more qualified responds:

Another thing
Do you have a air pump in your tank? If you don't, get one and see if that helps your bubbles. You need one either way for your fishies.

Added any gravel recently? Sometimes scum and bubbles can occur when gravel isn't rinsed before put in

Thank you for all of the answers! I havent added medicine recently and yes I have an air pump, but I took out half of my gravel recently (I had waaaay to much in my tank), and actually thats when the bubbles started happening. Are bubbles bad for the fish?
Thanks again everyone :)

Not majorly harmful if your gravel is produced for the aquaria. Just do a water change everyday until it goes away i guess

np, everything i read says they are not bad for your fish. I agree with everyone, do two 25% water changes a week until it goes away. Have you ever looked into a sponge filter?
