bubble wall?

I just want to be sure what all I need for a bubble wall cause it is exponentially cheaper to buy online it seems. I have 20 gallon regular. I need the bubble wall, an air pump, and a tube right? I need an external pump right? would those tetra whisper blue dome looking air pumps work?

I have a 20 gallon tank and i have the bubble wall in the back of mine. I have a 18" airstone rod with a 20 whisper air pump (blue dome). Works great!! I love the look of it and the fish love playing in the bubbles! lol You will need an airstone, air pump, tubing and if i remember right a check value came with a airstone or the airpump, can't remember. It really looks good. hope this helps

cool thanks! I have live plants along the back of my aqaurium so it wouldn't hurt the plants if i put the wall behind it?

it hasnt hurt mine yet....get the a flexible airstone so you can curve it anyway you want.

Air stones or o2 reduce co2 which will usually harm plants some. I had a bubblewall, i thought it would keep the area around my tall subslata clean but my plants did poorly, so i removed it. Don't forget to use the checkvalve and place the pump higher than the tank if you turn it off; this prevents flooding, and it happens alot.
