Question bow front tank

Just wondering what are the pros vs. cons of bow front tanks. I currently have a 35 gal tank and am looking to upgrade. I really want a 55 gal but have seen some bow fronts as well. Are they better if so why, if they are worse, why?

The main complaint is that the curved glass distorts the view. This is true but its not a major issue unless you do photography or something like that. They are harder to find replacment hoods for. Algae must be scraped from side to side, not top to botom.

I think the curved front help water circulation, but this is just speculation.

As you can see there are no major pros or cons, just get what makes you happy and try to go as big as you can.
