boiling wood

hey guys
im boiling my wood 2morrow as i think its tannins are causing my ph to still drop!
any advice would be great

Just boil the wood along with adding some salt to remove any nasty things, Sazzy.:)

Ditto Blue.

The salt will also raise the temperature of the boiling water.
