Blood worms

  • i recently bought some blood worms for my bettas, i forgot however to enquire how much i should give them.help please..

Drop 3-4 into his tank at feeding time. Observes how many he consumes. If he eats them all feed him another. Usually they will eat 3-5 worms.

next time use frozen bloodworm if you only keep 1 betta. 90% of your bloodworm will just rot away and the smell is bad.

Frozen bloodworms are better for feeding multiple fish. You can thaw a small chunk and then feed the fish. For a single fish freeze-dried is by far the most economical way. You just shake out what you need. No smell, no fuss, no muss.

Supplement you weekly feedings with thaw frozen peas. This will keep your betta from getting constipated.
