It would help to know what type of goldfish you have right now. But regardless of what kind they are I would say you are definetly going to need a bigger tank at some point. Keeping them in a tank that small can slow their growth which isn't good for them. I've seen goldfish almost a foot long. My brother has a couple of common goldfish that are 8" in a 90 gallon tank and they are doing quite well. I'm sure some of the other members on here can give you more advice. Also, someone else please correct me if I am wrong.....

do you have the angels and the goldfish in the 10 gallon tank? or do you have them in another tank and want to transfer them to the new 10 gallon? i wouldn't advise putting even one goldfish in a 10 gallon. they grow quite large and are very messy. they will dirty the water very quickly. also, angels and goldfish shouldn't live together. goldfish are cold water fish and require water between the high 60's and low 70's in temperature while angels need a somewhat warmer temperature ranging from around mid 70's to low 80's. i think you should return those fish and get something smaller like some schooling fish. maybe platy's or something like them. also, do you know about cycling your tank? its the most important part of keeping your tank healthy in the long run. i think this is the link to the cycling page. it helped me a lot when i first got my tank. if your stillconfused, ask around. there are plenty of people here in the forum that are willing to offer help and advice to you.

What kind of plant you can add will depend on what kind of light you have. Do you have any information on the light your aquarium has, the bulb or wattage?

The bad news is that none of your fish can live in a 10 gallon for any length of time. Both goldfish will get to be 6" or larger. They produce too much waste and physically take up too much room to live in a 10 gallon tank. Conventional wisdom is 20 gallons at least for the first goldfish and 10 to 15 for each additional gold fish. You also need a powerful filter to handle them. Finally gold fish are cold water fish and prefer temperatures in the high 60's to low 70's, the angels are tropicals who prefer temps in the high 70's.The angelfish are also not going to be able to live in the tank long term. They are going to grow and their fins will stretch from the substrate to the water's surface. Angelfish need to be kept in tall tanks so they can have room to swim. None of your fish will be able to stay in the tank.

There are quite a few fish that can be kept in the ten gallon though, a ten gallon could support a good school of tetras or rasboras, shrimp, platys or guppies. If you have questions about those please ask.

I agree 100% with what others have said; goldfish and angels should never be housed together, and both types of fish will grow far too large for a 10g tank. You've got tons of options for other fish that would work perfectly, though: any small tetra or rasbora, some of the smaller barbs like cherries, corydoras catfish, smaller gouramis, dwarf puffers, dwarf cichlids, kuhli loaches, etc.
