From Bare Bottom to River Bottom!

I have spent ALL DAY rinsing play sand, pea gravel, river rocks and pond stones for my 20 gallon goldfish tank. I'm FINALLY done!!!! I need to get a hood and a better filter for the tank, then I will plant it, add some fist-sized/larger/smaller river rocks, plants (haven't decided on real or fake yet but I'm thinking I'll go with fake) and a few dojo's and ghost shrimp depending on the plant situation. All in all, I'm really happy with it and Castor seems to be, too! Ignore the plants, I'm just curious as to whether or not I can grow anything with the floor lamp that is providing light for the tank at the moment. They are just kinda thrown in.

I love it, its really cool, my tank is nothing like that.Good luck, id suggest live plants if your ready for the maintenance, youll also have to get compatible fish for the plants.
