No the larvae need salted water to breed and they've never been bred in captivity.
I may wait it out a bit if they only live that long. :(

I think he is a great addition to my tank as small shrimp may be loach snacks and im not a crayfish fan.

When i feed with the dropper he is not really looking at me. I leave the lid on and just feed through the hole so he may not see me. From time to time he does eat from the substrate and plants/wood. I think he just likes strutting his stuff around the tank showing off. He will get his share of bloodworms and pellets/wafers when i feed the loachs and pleco.

I have not seen them around lately. Mine is coming up two years old in december.

I never knew that ate bloodworms. That's weird. I thought they only had micro foods. Hummm. Good to know.
