Bala Sharks "mating" odd behavior.

Last night I was looking at my 125 and noticed that 2 of my Sharks were swimming together almost lie they were glued side by side. I thought that they were mating. I thought they were egg layers so I double checked my facts and I was right.

So now I am a bit confused. They usually do swim in pairs except for Mary C.G. who just kind of does her own thing and goes between the 2 pairs on occasion. Hans and Frans are always together and Ace and Gary are always together. But last night it was Frans and Gary. H & F are about 3 months older than A & G. It just seemed really odd especially now that I know they are egg layers.

Anyone have any ideas or advice?
