Aragonite sand

I spent a couple hours rinsing this sand then put it in the tank and filled it up and it was so cloudy still the next day that i drained the whole thing. Now its the next day and i just started to fill it up again and one bucket in and its pretty cloudy again.

Should fill it up again and let it settle and thats good, or what? Im not totally filling this 75 again just to drain it, im not spending all that time again.

This sounds similar to a problem I had. I'm not sure how fine argonite sand is, but if it is really fine you just have to wait for it to settle out. I had some black sand so fine it clung on to air bubbles, I had to burst them all so the sand would settle. It also took almost a day for it to settle for me. Hope this helps.

Good Luck.

You could always take some of it out and put a hose with a squirting head on it. Put it down into the sand and have the water swirl to get the dust out. That is how I got my sand clean.
