Aquascaping fish bowl

So after finally eating all the xmas pretzels, i am left with a plastic "fish bowl" that they came in. . . obviously i couldnt throw anything away that could be used in the hobby

At 1st i was thinking of just keeping a Betta inside of it but then decided to try and aquascape it, i have a small 5 gallon filter which will be perfect for the 2 gallonish bowl.

I would like to grow plant(s) aswell as something that moves, but i dont want to put a heater inside so what are my options ?

Also has anyone got pics of scaping their bowl ?

haha haven't we all thought about this one time or another? Be careful about the plastic though there are some plastics that will leech toxins into the water...look at the number on the underside of the container...I'm not sure which numbers are safe off the top of my head...but you can find them on the internet.

Really ? I had no idea plastic could leech , I thought all plastic was inert once molded and dried. I'm gonna guess this should be ok since it had food stored in inside. Maybe I will try with some platy fry first and see what happens.

I will have a picture up tomorrow for you
