If your tanks are (cycled) and hold no fish as of yet. I would strongly urge you to put a pinch of flake food in each tank every other day to keep the bacteria alive. You may also throw a few Trumpet snails in the tanks as well to help keep the biological filter fed. Remember that without a source of food for the bacteria , it will begin to die off.
Perhaps you are still adding liquid ammonia to these tanks to keep the levels at 3to5ppm until you begin to SLOWLY add a few fish With a 50 percent water change before adding the fish?
Would be helpful to know what the pH is ,That will help identify possible fish that would do well in your water. Will these tanks be planted? What type of substrate ? What type and size of filters?
Personally, I would use the ten gal for quarantine tank for any new fish you should consider. Would also need water test results before recommending fish.
