well based on the adult size of the fish you already have i think you are good right now. the angels are going to get fairly large.... if you have plans to relocate them into a larger tank in the future you could add a few more fish but if this is going to be home i would wait tit out and see the size of your angels...

I agree with bearwithfish...........allow the fish you have to grow out, unless you plan on going to a larger tank within the next year, you rather stocked now with the fish you have in the tank size

at one point in time i had 3 angelfish and 5 swords but some died and they all seemed fine together.at the pet store there was 2 HUGE angelfish and about 15 other small ones and they did fine and they had plenty of room.lets just say if i were to get any what would be the suggestions?

keep in mind that the pet store is simply holding them and they want them out as fast as they can..not worried about stress on the fish or the long term well being of those animals. but if you set on getting more fish i will have to let others give you oppinions as i can not in good conscious suggest any more than you have now.. sorry....

also keep in mind at most fish stores the tank may look like a 10 gallon that they have a full grown oscar in. yea the space is limited but the ENTIRE fish wall is all linked to a sump so in theroy that oscar in a (10 gallon) has about 500-800 gallons of water volume that he is in.

i had forgotten that part as my concern had been simply space not volume....

I agree with prevous posters. Your tank is frankly overstocked now. Both the angels and silver dollars are potentially large fish, and this tank is far too small for them all. Fish continue to grow all their lives, unlike us, and being in too small a space from the start can cause internal problems that affect the immune system making the fish more susceptible to disease and pathogens. The physical space limitations play a part, but also the water conditions in smaller spaces (smaller than what the fish requires to properly grow). The loss of thegouramis may well have been due to their tank companions in this small a space. And if the pleco is a common pleco, it is a 12-15 inch fish.

I'm not going to suggest what to take out, that is your call as to how you do it, but certainly do not add anything for the health of your fish.

Byron.
