Looks like it but remember young male platys may not show until fully mature, so you might end up with a surprise at a later date.

#2 looks like a female for sure. Her anal fin is rounded. But I am not sure about #1. It could be because the fish has its fins clamped down. Could you try to get another picture of #1?

I'm with thekoimaiden on this one... #2 is definitely female, but #1 could either be a female clamping her fins, or a male with his fanned out a bit. It definitely looks a bit pointy at the end though.

I dunno looking at all the other fins they are sort of clamped too I still think its a female clamping fins down. Do you notice the anal fin ever fanned out on occasion on this one? Also if this is a male I would expect it to display towards the female and follow her around. Do you notice any of this with #1?

Nope, it doesn't fan it at all! I've been watching them quite a bit today and the #2 is definitely female, fan is very obvious. #1 platy doesn't fan that fin at all. I don't know if he is following her though, they just kind of swim together and occasionally head in different directions. I will now be watching to see if it is a sick female with clamped fins, should I remove to a different tank just in case? I wasn't really planning on a male, still keeping fingers crossed it is a female. Thanks!!

Unless other symptoms are showing I doubt its illness, just probably stress being in a new environment. It could just be male though, keep an eye on that one and watch the way it interacts with the other fish.
