Question angelfish attacks gourami

i just added to my tank 2 kiss gourami.. and one of my 2 angelfishes is attacking them!! what can i do? and when this will stop? generally are they good tank mates? Thanks

I think angelfish and gourami are generally not good tankmates.

I had 2 angels and then threw in a vareity of gourami including a large kissing, but the opposite happened and it attacked the angels! I eventually gave up on angels cus they either attacked or got attacked by my gouramies, so in my experience they didn't made good buddies :s Angels are beautiful and one of my favorites, but they can be real jerks haha

Angelfish and gourami should not be combined. Both species are territorial, males especially. As others have mentioned, it can go either way.

Kissing Gourami get very large and quite nasty. Check the profile for more info.

do you mean that when they grow up they will attack my angelifshes? also they never kiss.. why? thanks

With tropical fish, size matters, so yes, probably.

The "kissing" is a mating ritual which you might see when they are choosing their mates.
