There really intersting, how big our yours?? Mine are about a inch or so. Do you need to feed them anything special??

mine're almost 2 inches now. i've never fed them anything specific - they eat just about anything they can get hold of - many types of algae (including the problem black algae i've had), blanched veg, left over fish food, algae wafers, sinking wafers. just make sure none of your food contains copper as i believe shrimp are very sensitive to it

ok thank you, sorry to be dumb im new to all of this, wat are blanched vegtables, im probably being realy thick??

blanched means quickly cooked in some hot water - i ususally just put some boiling water from a kettle over some lettuce for a minute or two. Most green veg are fine. The blanching breaks down celluose in the leaves which fish cannot digest.

I just put some lettuce in a cup and poured hot water overit for about a minute is that right??

yep, thats fine. when u put it in the tank you might need to put it under a rock to get it to stay on the bottom tho
