Albino Tiger Barbs

So I'm looking at stocking a 10 Gallon and I'm thinking about Albino Tiger Barbs, Petco says they can go in a 10 Gallon.
is that true? can they go in a 10 gallon? and If so, whats the school size I should put them in?

No tiger barbs can get very aggressive if not kept in large groups so they need much larger than 10 gallons.

Kindest Regards,
Amanda

Keeping fish its not a hobby it is a passion!

55 gallon, 44 gallon, one 20 gallon tank, three 10 gallon tanks, and a 2.5 gallon all with real plants.

I have MTS and there is no cure.

10 gallons?

Those Petco workers are either told to make the sale or have no clue whatsoever..

Animal testing is a terrible idea; they get all nervous and give the wrong answers.

At Petsmart I listened to a guy sell a betta fish and a tank that hold 2 cups of water. And he told the lady to change the water monthly. I was ready to kill that guy.

Yeah, don't look at the information at the pet stores. I work at Petsmart and our albino tiger barbs say 5 gallons. o.O Luckily I know better, and so does my manager (who wants to be an ichthyologist) and he specifically told me (as we were making fun of the tags) to not use those sizes. Always check a more reliable source before buying fish :)

Tanks- 55 gal(in progress)-Common pleco, Angels, lemon and rummynose tetra, blue rams; 29 gal planted- rasboras, corys, otos, clown plec, shrimp; 10 gal- juvenile goldfish; 6 gal planted- betta

Other Pets-Maggie(Tricolor Paint Mare),
Lily(Sun Conure), Zoe and Melina(Budgies), Leonardo- Bearded Dragon, Pilot and Phoenix(Golden Retrievers), Beckham(german shepard/akita), Myrtle and Richard(hermit crabs)
