My tank has finally completed its cycle. I am having brown algae. I would like to get a long fin albino bristlenose pleco to take care of this. My tank is a month and half old. Should I wait? Or can I get one now?
If the tank has cycled, check your water parameters, and if they are ok, you could add a BN. Make sure you have some driftwood. The brown algae is likely diatoms and they will disappear over time without any intervention, but the BN will help the process along.
