Hello TFK People!

I finally have my 55 Gal tank fully cycled and all my fish well adjusted. I am now wanting to explore more plants/decor for my tank. Below are photos of my tank and my signature has a list of all my little water friends. Any suggestions or advice on plants and decor would be great. Right now I feel like I am lightly planted and would like to get my tank to a extremely well planted and decorated tank.

Sorry you aren't seeing them. Let me see if I can adjust the code and make them work.

I think that fixed it. Let me know if you can't see them.

Nice tank! I would add some floating plants like water sprite, frogbit, or dwarf water lettuce. The tetras and gouramis will really appreciate it as well as the diminished light. You could also try adding some tall background plants. But that's just my 2 cents. Decorating an aquarium is like art, what looks good to one might not be pleasing to the eye of another.

Also, it would help if you listed what plants you already have. The pictures don't really give that clear of a picture.

Agree on the light and floating plants. And even moreso for the knifefish that is naturally nocturnal and will be stressed long-term under overhead light. A few more chunks of wood to provide caves, overhangs, etc. would be a good idea. And one suggestion on the present setup is to move the centre chunk of wood off-centre. Anything dead centre draws attention to itself and the tank size/shape. Moving it several inches to the right and perhaps turning it would likely create the perception of a larger space.
