Well after cycling my water it left the water a little lower than I like (not because it's dangerous or anything..it just doesn't look as good). My measurements for treating water only really works by the gallon, but I don't need to add that much. My question, then, is can I treat a gallon of water, let it sit for a while to treat all the water, and then just pour in about 1/4 a gallon? If that is possible, is it safe to put the 3/4 back and pour it in a week later when I do the next cycling?
I dont know what I'm talking about but have heard that you just add the dechlorinator, stir it, and its good to go. Maybe let it sit for 15min to be safe?? Either way I would wait for someone else to comment since I am a novice!
you can do it two ways 1ut the water then add the dechlorinator 2ut the water in a bucket stir it up then put it in the tank. and i think your useing the cylce worng
Since a gallon is roughly equivalent to 5 litres of water, treat a litre by dividing your number of drops by 5 for a gallon. That is if you just want topping up.
