Unhappy 75 Aquarium set up... Good or bad?

I have:
-a 75 gal tank
-2 koi's
-2 heating sticks 150 w each.
-1 eheim 2215 filter
2 airstones.

Is this a good or bad set up, regardless of the tank size.
Anyways the aquarium has been around for a while now( almost a year), and for the past few weeks i've been getting really cloudy water (yellowish). Why is this happening? I change the water every 8 days and change about 50-60% of it. Do i need one of those circulation pumps?

How large are the koi? These fish have a significant impact on the bioload. Are you thoroughly vacuuming the substrate during each water change? Sounds like a bacterial bloom which is due to high organics.

You do realize the Koi will grow to between 2 and 3 feet, and very soon need a very much larger space?

Byron.
