I bought a used 65 gal. bow front tank recently off craigslist. I am going to set it up for freshwater. It was once a saltwater tank and it came with several power heads. I'm going to be using a Penguin 350 bio filter. Is there any reason why I would need to use the power heads or is that going to be too strong a waterflow for a freshwater? Also, here is a list of fish I will eventually stock the tank with. Is this going to be too many, just right, or can more be added? Are there any other interesting/colorful fish you can recommend for this tank?

2 angelfish
3 honey guouramis
7 rummey nose
7 barbs (haven't decided on type yet)
9 cardinal tetras
4 cory cats

Thanks for your input.

Angelfish and gouramis generally like quieter water so I don't think you'll need the powerheads.

You're fish list looks ok. Maybe up the count on the cories to 6. I would pick Cherry barbs.
