6 Gal on a trash compactor?

Howdy yall,
I've got an Eclipse 6, that I'm looking to move a bit. I've got a freestanding trash compactor that would be a bloody perfect 'stand', aesthetically at least. My main concern is if the vibration from the compaction cycle would unduly bother the fish. It's a fairly hard community tank, nothing too delicate in there.
Obviously I'll need to confirm that the trash compactor can handle the weight, but no reason to check that if the fish don't want to be there anyway. :)
Thanks

IMO it should be fine. I have a compactor as well I don't think it will terribly bother them. Mabey at first, but they will get use to it. Its not like the crushing cycle is very long. Ours is about 40-60sec.

.... I'm probably drunk.

This is how I lurk

Yay! :) Thanks for the input Mikaila. I'll probably move them this weekend.

I think it would be stressful to the fish. Exactly how strong are the vibrations.

trash compactors have fairly strong vibrations. Though this is only when you do the crushing cycle. The crushing cycle is fairly short.

I wonder if laying down a piece of sytrofoam or something would help attenuate the vibrations.
