55g tetra starter kit

I've been looking to upgrade to a bigger tank, and I came across this kit.

Its fairly cheap, but i'm wondering about quality?

It comes with pretty much everything, filter, heater, lighting etc.

Would this be a good kit to purchase?

Or would I be better off pieceing together something myself?

its probably a good kit, but overall, you will probably eventually replace a lot of the stuff inside. Kits like those usually come with ok stuff, but i had a 20 gallon kit and i eventually replaced the filter with a penguin because penguins did a better job imo and changed my heater cuz i didnt trust the brand that came with the kit. It all depends on you. If you think you will use that equipment and not feel like changing any then its a great deal. If you think you will end up rebuying some of the equipment, then avoid the kit.
