46 g bow front...now what to stock

Hi,

I just set up my new 46 gallon bow front aquarium. A wonderful birthday present from my husband. I have some past experience, with a 45 gallon tall that I had over 15 years ago. In the past, I had angel fish and a few tetras. My memory is sketchy, but Im thinking I want to try angels again.

Any advice on how many, and what would make happy tank mates? I did use Prime for the conditioner and Stability to try and ease the new tank cycling. Im using an AquaClear 70 and it's set with a heater and a bubbler in the rock.

I have yet to have the water tested. I found a good local fish store about 30 minutes away so that's on my to do list. I am in Arizona, and we are notorious for hard water.

Thank in advance for any help.

wow it's really lovely !
i'm no help with a stock list i'm afraid.
we do have a very nice fish profile section, that perhaps will help a little,
and you may find something interesting that you have not thought of adding before.
twig catfish have been mentioned a couple of times on here recently, they make an
interesting addition to a tank.
anyhoo have a look and see if there's something you fancy.

when you set up a new tank, hide an extra
sponge or two behind some decor, that way you have
something seeded for you next filter.

Thank you. I visited my LFS and was advised to add 4 fish to start. With the owners advice I chose 2 neon rainbows and 2 celebes rainbow along with a raphael spotted catfish. In a few weeks, if all is well, I am looking to add 3 angels.
