37 Gallon Tank

I have a hood and stand for a 37g tank (29/20 Long) I'd prefer to find a 37g but am I unable to, (on craigslist). I would need to buy a heater/filter for it, but I don't think that'd be a problem.

Would you...?

A. Sell the 37g hood/stand.
B. Buy a 29 Gallon
C. Buy a 20 Gallon Long
D. Continue to look for a 37g tank.
E. Other?

I could see myself doing any of them, thanks Sj

I don't know why you would sell the stand and hood. They would fit either a 20L, 29 or 37 perfectly. If you can't get a 37 (I know how rare they are; I think I've come across 2), then I would try to get a 29.

Right now you're missing the cheapest part of the set up. A stand is far more expensive than a tank and depending on the hood it can get almost as bad. Either buy a 29 gallon or give the 37 a bit more time.

I think I would place a 29 gal on the stand and continue my search.

I would keep looking. If you are getting impatient and see a cheap 29, grab it to hold you over. Eventually you will come accross a 37. Then all you need to do is find a stand and a hood for a 29.
I'm guessing that if you find a 37 on Craigslist it's gonna come with a hood and stand anyways.

there are occasionally gently used 37gals on seattle craigslist, but a lot of them will be EXTREMELY used. Look out for bowing glass, stressed out corners, and chips. good luck!
