29 Gal. Stocking Plan...

OK so I think I have finally decided on what I will be putting in my new tank (not so new it has been gone through a complete fishless cycle)... So let me know what you think of my plan!

8 Neon Tetras
6 Spotted or Harlequin Rasboras
3 Sparkling Gouramis
2 Honey Gouramis
3 Panda Cories
and maybe some Kuhli Loaches???

So tell me what you think? Overstocked? Understocked? Will they all get along?? Etc. etc....

i think you could add a few more small shoaling fish depending on your filtration

20 neons tetras and 10 harlies will do for the mid level.:) Neons hardly contribute a large percentage of bioload.

20 Neons and 10 harlies!!! Man that seems like quite a few fish my tank...especially with all the others I had planned!!

They are surface dwellers so I expect you have a lot of swimming space in the middle level for 20-30 neons and 10-15 harlies. If you make your tank heavily-planted, you can have more than that simply because plants also serve to be your filters.

Get more than just 3 panda cories. 6-10 would be nice along with 10 kuhli loaches. Who knew kuhlis are less bold when kept in a number of 4 or less?

Be sure to get the neons and panda cories last. Both are a little sensitive to water conditions compared to the rest(minus the sparkling gouramis which I never tried).
