20 gallon restart

I'm restarting my 20 gallon high I was thinking of 3 or 4 upside down catfish, 1 Bolivian ram and 6 bleeding heart tetras.

I would not recommend Synodontis nigriventris (upside down catfish) in a 20g tall. This fish attains close to 4 inches and should be in a group. This means at minimum a 30-inch tank but a 3-foot tank would be better.

The aquarist is one who must learn the ways of the biologist, the chemist, and the veterinarian. [unknown source]

Something we all need to remember: The fish you've acquired was quite happy not being owned by you, minding its own business. If you’re going to take it under your wing then you’re responsible for it. Every aspect of its life is under your control, from water quality and temperature to swimming space. [Nathan Hill in PFK]
