Right now i have a 20g high with 4 tiger barbs and 5 serpae tetras.........im thinking about moving my rainbow shark in there and maybe adding a few albino tiger barbs......would that be okay or would it be too much......im running a Penguin 200 and a sponge filter in there currently...........

Thanks,

I would add no more than four or five tiger barbs. As long as proper weekly water changes are performed and the fish are not overfed I see no problem. Shark would probably appreciate more swimming room.

The most important medication in your fish medicine cabinet is.. Clean water.

I THINK Movin a rainbow shark in with tetras is crazy. The thing will probabaly rip their guts out.And i am pretty sure tiger barbs don't like other barbs usually.

if the shark isn't big or overly agressive then your fine. Do you already have the rainbow or your thinking about adding a new fish? IF you already have one then i would put in a few tetras to the tank he is in now and see how he reacts to them and then make your judgement from there. But if you do this i wouldn't add the tetras. I would choose one or the other but both would be to hard. Good Luck

You really need more Tiger barbs before you think about anything else. At least 7 total. But a 20G High isn't really suited for them because of the short length... but it can work.

And after that, I would get 5 cories, since the others are mid dwellers.
