16 gallon tank plans

Here are my plans for my new 16 gallon tank, and I was wondering if they sounded okay

Dimensions
2 feet long by 1 foot wide by 1 foot tall

Heater
One 50 watt aquarium heater

Filteration
One PF10 5 to 10 aquarium filter
One aqua tech 5 to 15 aquarium filter

stocking
6 neon tetras
2 to 3 kuhli loaches
3 endlers
3 male guppys

Planting
4 sword plants
2 to 3 bunches of hornwort
One clump of java moss
2 bunches of moneywort
1 bunch of Cardamine Lyrata
1 small bunch of anacharis
6 to 7 stems of bacopa carolinia

Substrate
Quick Crete playsand

Feeding
A mix of tropical fish food, Betta food and goldfish food flakes 2 times a day every day
Mosquito larvae and brine shrimp as a treat every week once a week
Fasting on Sunday

Water changes

1 25 percent water Change weekly
1 50 percent water change monthly
1 100 percent water change annually

16 gallon - 11 neon tetras, 6 Pygmy cories, 6 kuhli loaches and 1 male Betta
15 gallon - 1 male Betta, 3 platies, and 5 guppies
6 gallon - 1 male Betta

All planted tanks

In My Opinion a Betta deserves nothing smaller than a 5 gallon tank

Kuhli loaches do better in larger groups. Three is considered the absolute minimum to have; most places recommend 6 or more. Some people say 10 or more. With loaches it is always the more the merrier.

Most people don't recommend putting Endler's and guppies together because they will hybridize. If you are planning all males then you won't have to worry about that.

Now for the stocking as a whole: you have some conflicting parameter there. Livebearers like guppies and Endlers like hard, alkaline water. Neons and kuhli loaches like soft, acidic water. You will have to chose one or the other based on your tap water.

Okay, I guess I won't get the kuhlis then, the guppys and endlers are going to be all males. And for the water. Mine is in the middle it is not soft or hard so does that mean I can't keep either of the fish I wanted

You can, but you will need to use some natural methods to tweak it a bit. My water is the same. For softer water I add driftwood to my tanks. I haven't had any experience with hardening neutral water, but I know there are methods to do it without chemicals (using chemicals to alter pH and hardness is a bad idea).

Very nice, but I would keep an eye on the betta. They are known to attack guppies.

55 gallon planted tank, starting over!!!( looking crappy, needs a major rescape)
