Where to buy plants online

Planted aquarium central is anywhere from 45$ or under to ship to my area...yikes...I ordered some Java Fern on ebay for 6 dollars, got about 3 plants worth and the shipping was free. Was from Taiwan, took about 2 weeks to get here though.

/sigh, I'm going to have to pay out the butt to get shipping relatively quick. I'll just be buying from my local fish store then, as they can give me a medium sized plant for 3-6 dollars at most and I save on shipping. Anything 'specialized' I'm going to have to go online for. Frustrating.

Where do you live that its 45$ if you dont mind me asking. :O

Shes on the west coast IIRC and Im on the east and its never been that high. I think Ive maybe paid about 15$ for a large order.

Was it just an estimate? I mean I live down in GA and Im pretty sure shes over in AZ and Ive never paid more than 30 bucks for an entire order, plants + shipping. The closest I had to 30$, I ordered 6-7 plants + shipping.

My last order was $44.52 in plants, shipping was another $14.24 from Arizona to south Florida. I thought the shipping was reasonable. Keep in mind, they are probably only charging you what USPS is charging them, so more than likely their not "making" money on shipping.
